Does anyone know how to or any links to obtain editorial photos from G.e.t.t.y. (or any other related sites) for free without watermarks and without AI effects?

Everything is site specific. Sometimes the tag is in the url, but without proper decryption the URL may not work. Popular media sites spend a lot of resources on making sure that you can't avoid the watermark. You could potentially try network monitoring tools to grab the media before the conversion, but as unlikely as that is to work, it's also a headache to get set up. There might be some projects on github with similar goals in mind, you should check there.
If all else fails, take some courses on photoshop.

The upscale images are usually shit, but there's enough online upscaler's that can do a decent job.
