It is fake. I've just checked the episode (3rd Feb) and there's no thong to be seen even if you mess with the brightness/contrast etc. The timestamp for the image is 12m 40s into the episode.

Just checked on 4HD (deleted recording) and I agree, there is a "dark" area but appears to be a shadow from the dress, it changes shape and size, also the main reason is she always wears spanx or similar, and you can see the bottom of these in the side shots.

This. It's just slight shadow cast by the natural crevice at the top of her arse crack. Nothing as defined as what was posted in the screen shot above.

I've lightened it up a bit and removed some shadows using Photoshop. She appears to be wearing a white body under the dress. But under that body you can see the bra and the side straps for a g-string. It's a bit blurred though. I'll see if I can get a better HQ screen grab.
